Clean Beach

The clean sandy white beaches and crystal blue clear water are really what makes the location of Peter Pan Resort unique. Tourists and locals visit the beaches along the Resort quite infrequently, making them clean throughout the year. This makes the natural beaches at Peter Pan Resort quite an attraction to experience. The Peter Pan Resort is set up in a way to maximize your beach exposure, with rooms available only feet away from the beach and most of the Resorts’ facilities located on the beach.

All activities are weather dependent. High season, which is the ideal time to visit Thailand, runs from October to May. Weather during high season is typically cooler than green season, with temperatures in the 70s and 80s (Fahrenheit). During high season days are sunny and still warm enough to enjoy the beaches and water activities, and at night weather stays cool enough to need only light air conditioning or fans. During green season, where rooms and packages can be cheaper at Peter Pan Resort, the weather is often hot and rainy during the day and incredibly hot and humid at night. During green season Peter Pan Resort only offers single night room rates or three-day, two night packages (with the offer to extend your package for any number of nights for an additional charge).

Peter Pan Resort is located on the island of Koh Kood. Multiple boat companies run boats to the island daily, often including a free taxi from the piers to your destination. The island includes many unique natural features to visit, including some of those mentioned above. Klong Chao Waterfall is visited by tour groups like the one included in the package above. You can swim in the huge pool near the waterfall, and it is the largest waterfall on the island to witness. The river estuary through which the waterfalls run is mangrove lined. Kayaks can be rented to travel through the estuary. Three hundred year old Macca trees can be seen on the way to the waterfall as well. There is a small fishing village in the northern part of the island called Ao Salat, which can be visited by the boats that run to and from the island. Restaurants in the town are known for their seafood and the small shops in town include souvenir shops for tourists. There is another fishing village at the south end of the island, which can be visited, again known for their delicious seafood restaurants and also snorkeling. Motorbikes are available to rent to travel around the island, and taxis are readily available as well.
